Chadwick alumni return to give advice to juniors and seniors on collegeChadwick alumni from the classes of 2016 and 2017 returned to campus Jan. 3 to give juniors and seniors insights on preparing for college — the admission process, how they chose a school and what to expect their freshman year. The alumni, who attend Georgetown, Stanford, Columbia and other universities, also got a chance to visit with their former teachers and classmates.
Chadwick community packages meals for those in needChadwick parents, students and faculty packaged 10,000 meals for families in need as part of the annual Hunger Banquet, put on by the Community Service Advisory Board. The event informs and inspires us to be grateful for our many gifts and commit to make those gifts accessible to others.
10th Grade Backpacks Through Sierra NevadaThe 2017-18 sophomore class returned Sept. 1 from a 5-day backpacking trip throughout various wilderness areas in the Sierra Nevada. The course is required as part of Chadwick's curriculum and increases the students' knowledge of map reading, compass navigation, water purification, route planning and more.
