Chadwick community packages meals for those in need

Chadwick parents, students and faculty packaged 10,000 meals for families in need as part of the annual Hunger Banquet, put on by the Community Service Advisory Board. The event informs and inspires us to be grateful for our many gifts and commit to make those gifts accessible to others.

Cross-Country teams compete well in CIF Finals

The boys and girls cross-country teams finished their season with strong runs at the CIF-SS Finals on Nov. 18. It was the 23rd time the girls team had advanced to the finals, and the boys team finished the season in 8th place, one place out of advancing to States.

Chadwick Football finishes regular season undefeated

The Varsity Football team finished the regular season undefeated for the first time since the 1980s, after racking up high point totals, total yardage and sacks all season. The team made it to the semifinals of the CIF Playoffs. Read a news article about the team's stellar season here.


Peter Pan flies into Chadwick

The Chadwick Theater Department brought the classic adventure tale "Peter Pan" to life on the Chadwick stage with a modern, fun-filled twist. The Upper School fall play featured Wendy, Tinkerbell, The Lost Boys, a non-traditional Captain Hook, along with elaborate flying and pop song-infused numbers.

Peer Mentors, 1st-graders explore meaning of community

The Peer Mentors group met with first-graders on the main lawn for an activity on what it means to belong to a community. Chadwick emphasizes the unique ability for Upper-Schoolers and Village-Schoolers to build friendships on campus.

10th Grade Backpacks Through Sierra Nevada

The 2017-18 sophomore class returned Sept. 1 from a 5-day backpacking trip throughout various wilderness areas in the Sierra Nevada. The course is required as part of Chadwick's curriculum and increases the students' knowledge of map reading, compass navigation, water purification, route planning and more.
