About Ted Hill
Ted Hill brings 30 years of school administration, teaching and
coaching experience to his role as headmaster at Chadwick School. His
background includes positions in development, alumni relations and
admissions at schools and universities from Florida to California.
Hill holds an M.Ed. in administration, planning, and social policy from
Harvard University; an M.A. in French language and literature from
Middlebury College in Paris; and a B.A. in French and English from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
A firm believer that intellectual and moral growth must go hand in
hand, Hill stresses character development in education. Under his
direction, the curricula, programs and faculty at Chadwick School
promote excellence in students’ thoughts, words and actions, as well as
their schoolwork.
