Board of Trustees
Though founded in 1935, Chadwick School was incorporated as the
non-profit Roessler-Chadwick Foundation in 1963. There are currently 20 voting
members
of Chadwick’s Board of Trustees, each nominated for three-year terms.
They assist the headmaster in guiding and governing the school through
prudent evaluation and financial management. Each of the members has a
breadth of skills to assist Chadwick School in reaching the goals of
its mission.
The current Chair of the Board, Richard K. Learned, graduated from
Chadwick in 1962. The Board meets six times per year and attends one
retreat. Each member also serves on one of the five advisory
committees, including:
- Buildings and Grounds
- Finance
- Committee on Trustees
- Advancement
- Risk Management

During its May meeting, the Board of Trustees invites seniors to
