Homecoming 2016

The whole school, from kindergartners to seniors, came out for activities during Homecoming week. Always the most anticipated event, Class Colors Day, took place on Thursday, Sept. 22, and featured the Upper School tug-of-war competition, shown here. Congratulations to the seniors on their victory!

Ted Hill Tree Dedication

The Chadwick community celebrated Ted Hill's 18 years as Headmaster and new appointment as President of the Roessler-Chadwick Foundation Saturday, Sept. 24, with a tree dedication in his name. Pictured here from left to right are Ruth MacFarlane, trustee of the Roessler-Chadwick Foundation Group; Mark Woodruff, Chair of the Board of Trustees; Ted Hill; and John Fiske, former director of the Middle School. Kindergartners meet their WOWs

As is tradition, on the first day of school, Chadwick's WOW seniors (Chadwick students from K-12) exchange gifts with the kindergartners, the younger students giving seniors hats and the seniors giving the youngsters a stuffed dolphin.

Backpacking in the Sierras

Our sophomores returned from their 5-day outdoor education trip in the Sierras on Friday, Sept 2. The trip continued the students' small-group, outdoor experience in the wilderness.

Chadwick alumna Christen Press — World Cup champion and Olympian
