Other Means of Support
There are numerous easy ways to support Chadwick School, many of which are organized by Chadwick’s parent organizations.
Chadwick Parents’ Association
The Chadwick Parents’ Association (CPA) is active on Chadwick’s campus, working to assist the school’s faculty and administration to support and promote the school. Each year, parents donate significant funds to the school through CPA-sponsored events. Typically these funds are for purposes above and beyond the school’s annual operating budget.
Two of the CPA’s major annual fund-raisers are:
- Scrip Program
The CPA manages the school’s vast Scrip Program, a simple, free and easy way to earn money for Chadwick School. Eash year, Scrip purchases raise more than $30,000 for the school. There are several ways to participate, including e-Scrip, paper Scrip and Scrip participation at local grocery stores. Click here for more information. - Spring Benefit
The CPA’s annual spring dinner and auction helps raise funds for Chadwick School. The event is usually held the second Saturday of May. There are many ways members of the Chadwick Community can contribute to the success of this event: - Volunteer to help organize the event: If interested, call the school to obtain the contact information for the event chairperson. The organizers need help with every facet of the evening.
- Donate an item for the silent or live auction: No item is too big or too small.
- Attend the dinner auction (and encourage your friends to join you).
Chadwick Dolphin Booster Club
The Dolphin Booster Club supports Chadwick athletics by sponsoring programs that encourage school spirit and team unity, and facilitate communication between Chadwick’s teams, coaches and parents. The Booster Club also provides athletic funding through memberships and spirit-item sales.
Chadwick Friends of the Library
The FOL enhances the education of Chadwick students by funding reading and related programs, along with resources for the library and classrooms, such as books, multimedia materials and the Visiting Authors series. Funds are raised through memberships, sales of Birthday Books , the annual Book Fair, and “in honor of” book sales that take place around Family Day each year.
