Making a Difference Every Year
The Chadwick Annual Fund provides a meaningful, yearly opportunity to affirm our support for Chadwick's mission, teachers and students. Together, our gifts of all sizes, ensure that the Chadwick experience remains consistently exceptional for every student in every year.
Thanks to the tremendous contributions from our entire Chadwick Community to Chadwick’s Annual Fund in 2015-16, we raised $1.7 million -- a 17% increase over the prior year! Because all Annual Fund gifts are spent in the year they are donated, the Annual Fund must be renewed each year. We hope you will renew your support and be a part of Chadwick’s continued success! Did you know that tuition only covers 90% of each student's Chadwick School education? Gifts to the Annual Fund make up the difference. The Annual Fund helps moderate tuition levels, and allows families to invest in their children's education on a tax-advantaged basis.
The Annual Fund enhances every aspect of education at Chadwick – beyond what is possible with tuition alone. Every year, the Annual Fund helps:
- Pay faculty salaries and fund professional development for teachers
- Provide financial aid for outstanding students
- Buy computers and technology
- Provide equipment, transportation and resources for athletic teams, visual and performing arts endeavors, outdoor education trips, and service learning
- Maintain our beautiful campus and facilities
- Make Chadwick a remarkable place to learn.
Because Chadwick depends on the Annual Fund every year to support the school’s core programs, our Board of Trustees has identified the Annual Fund as the school’s top philanthropic priority.
