The Ledesmas

Commander Ledesma (class of 1982) graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1987 and served 25 years on active duty before retiring from the Navy in 2007. He now works at Riverstone International School in Boise, Idaho where he teaches high school mathematics and coaches girls varsity basketball. Sharon Stone Ledesma (class of 1982) works at the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine in Boise, Idaho.

Ilonka Alexander (class of 1962) is a psychotherapist and published author living in rural Nova Scotia. Alexander Wrote the book "Growing Up Alexander: My Life with a Psychoanalytic Pioneer" and "The Life and Times of Franz Alexander: From Budapest To California (The History of Psychoanalysis Series)." She’s also the ambassador for the alumni of 1962.

Nicole Lindermayr (class of 1991) is a Stanford alum (two bachelor’s and one master’s degrees) who worked for Goldman Sachs for 13 years. She’s been living in Frankfurt, Germany since 1997, where she’s raising her two children. She is now the export manager and European sales director for US-based The Legacy Companies.

Jordan Lucier '13 Makes Forbes List!

Congrats to Chadwick alumnus Jordan Lucier '13 for being named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Sports Class of 2022. Check out this Forbes article and this profile! Jordan co-founded Perch, which is used by pro teams (and the military!) to track training stats. At Chadwick, Jordan was a 4-year football and volleyball player, as well as a member of the community service advisory board.

Jasper Burns Represents Chadwick in Extraordinary Fashion!

Jasper Burns, class of 2012, is deployed on the USS Carl Vinson in the Western Pacific and is flying EA-18G Growlers. A few months ago, the Alumni Office mailed him a Chadwick flag. We love to see our alumni represent Chadwick all over the world.

Juri Watanabe ’14 crowned Miss Universe Japan!

Juri Watanabe ’14 was just crowned Miss Universe Japan 2021. She just arrived in Israel to compete on the world stage for the Miss Universe Pageant on Dec. 12, 2021. Congrats, Juri, on winning Miss Universe Japan, and best of luck on your next pageant! Chadwick is cheering you on!

Christen Press Returns to L.A.

We are beyond excited that Chadwick alumna Christen Press ‘07 is returning home to play for Angel City FC — a soccer club with a commendable mission and ethos. Click here to learn more about Christen’s journey home. Congratulations to Christen and the U.S. Women’s National Team for their bronze medal in the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo this summer!

Distinguished Alumni Awards Brunch

This fall, we honored four amazing alumni at the Distinguished Alumni Awards Brunch: Anita Sircar ’92 was honored with the 2020 Distinguished Alumni Award; Bob Rule ’76 with the 2021 Distinguished Alumni Award; and Alyssa Norris ’03 and Max McFarland ’09 were inducted into the Chadwick School Athletics Hall of Fame.
