This course introduces high school students to the fundamentals of data analysis and data science through hands-on activities, real-world examples, and guided projects. Your child will learn how to collect, interpret, and visualize data while exploring core topics such as Simpson’s Paradox, basic statistical reasoning, and how data powers technologies like autonomous vehicles. Throughout the program, your child will practice working with datasets, identifying patterns, and drawing evidence-based conclusions. The experience culminates in a final project where your child will choose their own model, perform data cleaning and analysis, and create a simple prediction model.
