This intensive summer Geometry course is tailored for rising 8th, 9th, and 10th graders who meet the prerequisite requirements and are motivated to accelerate their math progression. The curriculum focuses on mastering core Euclidean geometry topics, including deductive and inductive reasoning, proofwriting, graphing lines, calculating areas and volumes, and exploring transformational geometry. Students engage in interactive lessons, collaborative activities, and computer-based geometric explorations. Due to the compressed nature of the course, students should expect to dedicate 2–4 hours to homework daily. See summer course policies for additional details. Geometry Prerequisites: A year-long grade of B- or higher in any Algebra course: Algebra 1 B, Algebra 1, or Algebra 1 Honors. Please Note: Open enrollment is available for 10th-grade students within established math course sequences, with course caps in place to manage class sizes effectively. Students must be picked up at 12:30 p.m. unless enrolled in afternoon Summer Program classes. Afternoon bus service is available only at 3:00 p.m. Course Fee: $2,940 |
