Movers & Makers - Orcas (Art & Making, Sports TTH/Swim MWF, Games)

Art & Making - This class will allow your student to explore their creative side while also challenging themselves through the design process! We will work with a variety of materials to make unique works of art and explore design and engineering through "making activities" using found objects as we observe nature outside, inspiring our artwork. 

Sports/Swim - This class is for those campers who want a little more variety in their week. This track gets 2 days of Sports and 3 days of Swim. In our Sports class, campers enjoy a wide range of activities, from soccer and dodgeball to softball and relay races. They not only learn the rules and skills of the games but also the values of good sportsmanship and teamwork. Join us for a fun and educational sports experience! Chadwick’s Aquatics Program offers children a range of basic swimming skills while adhering to strict safety rules. An initial assessment matches each camper to his/her appropriate swim level. [All lifeguards and swim instructors are Red Cross certified, which includes lifesaving, CPR, and first aid.] Swimming takes place in our 6-lane pool ranging from 4’-12’ deep.

Games - Game on! Campers use logic, reasoning, social skills, and critical thinking to play strategic board games. They will discover how game developers create board games in order to design their very own. campers choose a theme, establish rules and directions, and even design the board and game pieces. Then...we play!

Fun Friday Assemblies - Each Friday, campers will participate in a fun Friday activity.
