Global Programs for Middle School Students

As a school community, our goal is to develop and enhance in our students the knowledge, skills, and disposition required to understand multiple perspectives and thrive and lead in an increasingly interconnected world. As globally competent citizens, our students understand themselves and their own societies and identities in order to constructively interact and learn from others within and across cultures and become leaders in the international effort to achieve a more humane, just, and peaceful global society.

Chadwick supports a variety of opportunities for Middle School students who wish to expand their perspectives as they engage with other cultures. These include:

Chadwick International (Exchanges, classroom collaboration)
Young Round Square (Exchanges, conferences)
Junior Model UN (Domestic and international conferences)
Host Family Program (Host an exchange student from overseas)
Language and Cultural Immersion Programs (International programs)

Information on the application process for global opportunities can be found here.

Each individual Round Square School sets its own terms and conditions for the exchange and provides its own requirements, information and advice. Students can check the Round Square website to research schools (https://www.roundsquare.org/our-schools/) but should not contact the schools directly to arrange an exchange. After submitting this application, students and parents interested in these exchanges will meet individually with Ms. Lindsay Conkle Dorman to work through this customized experience.
