Applications for Global Programs are generally released in conjunction with Tripaganza, the student premiere of global opportunities, which will take place this year on September 8, 2016.
Financial aid is available for Chadwick Global Opportunities in the 2016-17 school year. Students express interest in receiving aid on their trip applications.
Aid, however, is limited. Consequently, any tuition aid received as well as any aid previously given for global opportunities will be taken into consideration.
For questions about financial aid for global opportunities, please contact Jacquie Muniz, Director of Financial Aid.
PARTICIPANT SELECTION CRITERIA
All trip applications will be reviewed by the Director of Global Opportunities and the trip leaders, and participants will be selected considering recommendations from the faculty, advisor, Dean of Students, and Division Director. Any pertinent disciplinary history will also be considered, and for any trip involving more than one day of absence from classes, applicants' academic standing will be taken into account.
While applicants are generally considered based on the information contained in their application as well as the feeback described above, trip leaders may also limit the possibility to apply or preference for selection to students with certain credentials or qualifications.
Students who have not previously participated in a Chadwick Global Opportunity during the Middle School (for MS applicants) or the Upper School (for US applicants) will generally be given preference for all trips. Therefore, students are encouraged to apply for any trip that seriously interests them but should understand if they are not accepted to more than one trip during their time in each of these divisions.
More information about the application process will be included on the application itself. For any other questions, please contact Chad Detloff, Director of Global Programs.
