Chadwick recently held the Multicultural Food Festival, which was ideated and organized by Upper School students.
There were booths of food authentic to various cultures, regions and countries, including Korea, China, Black culture, Middle Eastern, Italian, Filipino, Mexican and more. Many booths provided information about their culture or country. Senior Emilia ’22 invited Metzonalli Xochipilli, a group from Compton which consists of indigenous descendants of Mexico’s Aztec people, to perform a traditional Danza Azteca. What a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate each other over food, conversation and entertainment!
