This summer course is specifically tailored to prepare your child for the transition into formal algebra by focusing on the core pillars of algebraic thinking. Through engaging classroom activities and collaborative partner projects, your child will explore essential concepts such as variables, proportional reasoning, and inductive/deductive logic. The curriculum provides a thorough review of pre-algebra skills while introducing new ways to represent mathematical ideas through posters and presentations. By the end of the program, your child will have built the solid foundation and confidence necessary for long-term success in high school mathematics.
