Meet the Chadwick School Alumni Association Board of Directors
Chadwick's Alumni Board is composed of members from classes that range from 1972 to 2013. They represent the best of our community, and together, they strive to keep us connected.


















Austen Peterson '13
Chair
Austen Peterson is an Acquisitions and Asset Management Associate at Lift Partners in San Francisco, CA, focusing on the adaptive reuse and repositioning of industrial properties along the West Coast, specifically covering Seattle, San Francisco and the South Bay of Los Angeles. Austen holds a B.A. in Urban Studies and Architecture from Trinity College in Connecticut. During her undergraduate tenure, she spent a semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she fell in love with urban design, Nordic architecture and of course, bicycling. Born and raised in Palos Verdes, Austen spent 13 years at Chadwick where she was actively involved in the Community Service Advisory Board and served as a three-year captain of the varsity softball team. With her sister Morgan Peterson ’11 living in Los Angeles and her job presenting numerous opportunities to visit the South Bay, Austen has been known to stop by the Chadwick campus for a walk down memory lane. Outside of the office, she can also be found solo traveling through tropical destinations, playing fetch with her cat Strauss, and concert-hopping through San Francisco. |
Lucy Jones ’02
Co-Chair
Lucy Jones is a creative director and producer. She has produced over 30 music videos, miles of branded content and a feature film. After 13 "WOW" years at Chadwick, she headed to Boston College via Emerson College and graduated with degrees in Communication and Political Science. Now as Head of Production at The Yard Entertainment, Lucy works with music artists and brands to deliver fresh and relatable video content. She and her brother (Dylan Brown ’93) run a creative production agency and service clients such as HBO, Disney and Snoop Dogg, to name a few. A mother of two young boys, Lucy hopes to instill many of the social and academic values in her sons that she got from her time at Chadwick. Chadwick was Lucy’s first love — her happy place — and she’s honored to serve as an active member in the community. |
Morgan Peterson '11
Interim Communications Chair
Morgan Peterson is a Labor and Employment attorney in the Los Angeles office of Proskauer Rose LLP. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2021 from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she was an executive editor of the UC Irvine Law Review and a member of the Civil Rights Litigation Clinic. Morgan graduated from Tufts University in 2015 with bachelor's degrees in anthropology and in peace and justice studies. During her 13 years at Chadwick, Morgan was a member of the Community Service Advisory Board and the Admirals, and represented the school as a delegate at the 2009 Round Square International Conference at Mayo College in Ajmer, India. She also played on the volleyball and softball teams, albeit not particularly well, and spent countless hours laughing on the Main Lawn with friends. In her free time now, Morgan enjoys hiking, skiing, reading and cooking. |
Davy Cohen ’03
David “Davy” Cohen attended Westchester Neighborhood School until coming to Chadwick from grades 9–12. After graduating from Chadwick, Davy attended UC Berkeley and graduated with honors in neuroscience. Davy went on to the USC Keck School of Medicine and graduated cum laude. He did his residency at Wayne State University in Detroit for Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery.

Stevee Jo Eads '09
Stevee Jo began her career working in feature development for Adam Sandler. She then went on to CAA where she served as a literary agent in the Motion Picture department for over a decade before making the transition to The Agency / Avalon. Stevee Jo now serves as the US liaison for clients across the Agency, where she focuses on US packaging and producing opportunities for international clients. She also manages select clients in the US under Avalon’s management umbrella. Stevee Jo recently joined a group, the nantucket project, which is a non-profit storytelling organization dedicated to building a stronger America by promoting a culture of pluralism and practicing civil discourse. She is also involved a mentorship group at her alma mater, USC, where she guests speaks on a panel in an undergraduate class for students trying to break into the entertainment industry. This is Stevee Jo’s first year on Chadwick’s board. |
Anthony Fadil ’13
Anthony works on the Content & Ads Strategy team at Spotify in New York City, focused on assessing avenues for growth and executing on the company's long-term plan. Prior to this, he spent time as a private equity investor at Eurazeo, a Paris-headquartered investment firm, where he acquired and managed portfolio companies and collaborated closely with management teams to action value creation levers. Anthony previously worked at J.P. Morgan on the Media & Entertainment Investment Banking team. In this role, he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, capital raises and strategic initiatives across the diversified media sector. Anthony graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with degrees in finance, international business and Spanish. |
Deb Herzik ’72
Deborah Herzik has worked as a family nurse practitioner for the last 25 years at El Camino College Student Health Services. She is passionate about rural health care and has worked throughout the state providing primary care to underserved communities. After starting Chadwick in the middle of her sophomore year, Deborah graduated Chadwick in 1972. While attending college, she realized the amazing opportunities she was gifted at Chadwick, and the impact it had on her education and life. With the small class sizes and the support and encouragement of her teachers, she discovered the tools and the deep desire to succeed. She is incredibly grateful to her Chadwick experience for helping her to believe in herself, and for positively changing the trajectory of her adult life. Deborah's two sons not only attended Chadwick, but graduated as “WOWs,” with her son Nick returning to teach Middle School science! |
Harrison Kidd ’11
Harrison Kidd is currently a brokerage director at Innovative Solutions Insurance Services in El Segundo, CA. He started his career at Prudential Financial in Hartford, CT, where he was part of their Life Sales Academy training program. Harrison holds a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurial leadership and history from Tufts University, where he also played wide receiver on the Football team. During his 13 years at Chadwick, Harrison was an admiral, co-head of Amnesty International and co-chair of the Athletic Council. He was team captain of the Football team and was also a member of the Soccer and Lacrosse teams. Today, Harrison resides in Playa Vista and enjoys exploring new cities and food. |
Christi Lane '14
Nikki Lane ’09
Nikki Lane joined the Chadwick School Alumni Board in 2023. While at Chadwick, she played on the girls varsity volleyball team for all four years and played on the girls varsity water polo team for two years. She later went on to attend Loyola Marymount University and received a bachelor’s degree in finance. At LMU, she played on the Division 1 volleyball team and the club volleyball team, participated on the surf team and was in Kappa Alpha Theta. Nikki was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California, and attended Grandview Elementary School and Manhattan Beach Middle School before attending Chadwick’s Upper School. Nikki works at Vista Sotheby’s International Realty as a residential real estate agent and has had her license since 2013. She works alongside her dad, Bob Lane, and sister, Christi Lane. She has also been a Los Angeles County beach lifeguard since 2009. In her free time, she loves to surf, hang at the beach with friends, travel, walk along the strand and ski. |
Susie McNary Johnson '65
Celia Myers ’17
Celia is a proud graduate of the class of 2017. During her time at Chadwick, Celia was best known for her dolphin spirit, as she founded the spirit club and even donned the dolphin suit on a few occasions! After graduating, Celia attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated with degrees in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies. Celia is currently a 2L at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles and is eager to pursue a career in entertainment law. As a new member of the alumni board (and the youngest!), Celia is elated to bring the same Chadwick spirit she had back in high school! |
Sarah Parsa Nguyen ’95
Sarah Parsa Nguyễn (she/ her/ hers) is a Chadwick WOW, who during her time at Chadwick, was captain of the soccer and volleyball teams, served on student council and discovered lifelong friends. She went on to play Division 1 Soccer at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she studied abroad in Chile and Italy. Sarah considers herself "a creative business hybrid human" who paved an unconventional professional path. She tried to start her own creative business — and failed! She went on to earn her MBA and discover a passion for marketing, branding and program design for those less fortunate. Sarah currently works at creative agency Strategy at Saatchi & Saatchi, where her focus is on culture-design and creating psychological safety in the workplace. She spends much of her time coaching leaders at all levels towards better well-being, specializing in Clifton Strengths attunement and mindfulness practices. Sarah and her husband Tom are proud parents of two spirited boys, Tyler and Bradley. One day, probably when the kids are grown up, she will publish one of the children’s books she wrote and illustrated. |
Bob Rule ’76
Bob Rule’s storied tenure at Chadwick began as a student. He entered kindergarten in 1963 and graduated from the Upper School in 1976, making him a proud Chadwick WOW. During his 34-year career at Chadwick School, Bob has taken on a wide variety of roles and responsibilities. In 1987, he became a shop teacher as well as the Technical Director for the fine arts department, where he taught technical theater, managed productions for Chadwick’s Arts Unlimited summer program and managed audio-visual projects. As Construction Coordinator (1989–95), Bob was also responsible for managing major building projects like Christensen Hall, the faculty townhouses on South Academy Drive, the Pascoe Pavilion, the Village School Science building, the Rosenwald Amphitheater and the Geoffrey Alan Laverty Center for the Performing Arts. Bob served as Chadwick’s Director of Technology from 1995–2000, Director of Special Projects from 2000–10 and Director of General Services from 2010–15. As Director of Risk Management and Transportation (2015–current), Bob oversees Chadwick risk management and transportation programs, and has been instrumental in its COVID-19 response. He has acted as the school’s liaison with the Los Angeles County Public Health Department and also works closely with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Lomita station, local fire departments and the Academy Hill Homeowners Association. Bob also worked on the launch of Chadwick International School in Songdo, South Korea, from a facilities management perspective. Bob attended Stephens College in Missouri, graduating in 1980 with a BFA in Theater. After college, he worked for Fluor Engineering in Irvine, CA, from 1980–87. He also ran his own business creating sets and lighting for corporate events. |
Wes Shive '95
Erica Thompson ’89
Born and raised in the South Bay and an alumna of Chadwick class of ’89, Erica Thompson is the founder of Organized by Design, a home organizing and interior stylist studio. Erica works with a variety of people — from busy moms to athletes and industry professionals — to create personalized solutions so that clients feel calmer, function better and thrive in their environment. She has been featured in Today.com, Domino, South Bay Magazine and other publications. Erica brings a non-judgmental approach to creating stylish and clutter-free spaces. |
Andrew Werts ’92
Andrew Werts served as chair of the Alumni Board until 2018 and was elected as co-chair in June 2021. Andrew received his bachelor's in psychology from Gettysburg College and his MSBA from San Francisco State University. Andrew has spent the last 15 years of his career working in the marketing and advertising field, and is currently the director of marketing and communications at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance and San Pedro Medical Centers. Andrew is also on the Executive Leadership Council for the American Heart Association in the South Bay. He is a longtime South Bay resident who enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and has a deep love for Chadwick. |
Andrew Wolstan ’03
As a Chadwick WOW, Andrew Wolstan began his Chadwick School journey in kindergarten and graduated in 2003. While at Chadwick, he was involved in athletics as well as other student organizations. Andrew is the Head of Legal & Corporate Development for Moov Technologies, a managed marketplace for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Prior to his role at Moov, Andrew was the Co-Founder and General Counsel of electric car manufacturer Canoo. He previously served as an associate at two law firms where he primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions. Andrew attended Columbia Law School and Duke University. |

What is the Alumni Association Board of Directors? |

The Alumni Association Board of Directors ("Board") is composed of up to 15 alumni from different decades and regions. You do not need to live in the area to be a member of the Board. The Board meets four times throughout the year (in-person and virtually) to plan and develop social and educational programs that promote fellowship among Chadwick alumni and help strengthen alumni relationships with Chadwick. |
What programs does the Alumni Board oversee? |
The Alumni Board has launched the Chadwick Professionals program, which helps all members of the Chadwick community build relationships on the professional level. |
What are the officer positions on the Board? |
To be nominated as an officer of the Board, you must be on the current Alumni Board of Directors.
