Giving at Chadwick
A Commitment to the Future
Starting with the generous gift of land for the Chadwick School campus, philanthropy has shaped the institution for over 90 years and remains vital to every student's educational experience. Contributions to Chadwick enhance daily teaching and learning, support significant campus enhancements and new construction, and provide an essential source of funding for financial aid. Charitable giving creates a partnership between the school and Chadwick families to provide the highest quality education and opportunities for our students — for today and for tomorrow.
Every School Year Starts With the Chadwick Fund
While tuition provides a strong financial foundation, annual giving to the Chadwick Fund enables our school to go above and beyond. These unrestricted dollars unlock boundless opportunities in the arts and athletics, in classrooms and laboratories, in libraries and through technology, in outdoor education, community service, and other experiential learning. Chadwick Fund gifts provide Chadwick the freedom to pursue innovation, seize exciting opportunities and make a lasting impact where it matters most.
The Chadwick Fund is the school's top philanthropic priority every year. Every dollar donated to the Chadwick Fund is put to immediate use in the same school year in which it is given, directly supporting our students and teachers.

These gifts bring bold ideas to life, creating lasting impact for our students and community. Capital Campaigns From time to time, Chadwick launches a community-wide, multi-year capital campaign to fund visionary projects, new buildings, major facilities or significant endowments that go far beyond annual operations. These capital gifts are typically larger than Chadwick Fund contributions, often paid over several years and representing a lasting investment in the school's future. Today's Chadwick students benefit from capital campaigns to fund:

| Endowment Funds |
|
Endowment funds are wisely invested assets that generate annual income without ever touching the principal. This steady revenue eases pressure on the operating budget and, when robust, helps keep tuition in check. Chadwick's endowment includes more than 20 dedicated funds that provide funding for a range of important programs, such as:
Contributions may be made to existing endowment funds or a new fund may be established with a major gift, creating a lasting legacy that strengthens Chadwick for generations. For information about Chadwick's endowment funds, please contact Director of Institutional Advancement Trent Jackson. |
| Reunion giving |
|
For many alumni, a special gift made at the time of a Chadwick reunion is an opportunity to give back to a school that played an important role in their lives. These gifts help strengthen the school for current and future students. For information about Reunion Giving, or to organize a reunion campaign for your class, please contact Director of Development for Alumni Relations Monica Buck. |
| In Honor Of |

Donors may always elect to make their Chadwick Fund contribution in honor of or in memory of someone important to them or to the school. These gifts receive special recognition in Chadwick's annual report. |
