Chadwick International

Education is a never-ending adventure. It opens up worlds, expands minds and can take you just about anywhere. Chadwick International brings to life the pioneering spirit that defines Chadwick. Opened in 2010 in Songdo, South Korea, our Chadwick International campus has grown from 260 students to nearly 1,500, spanning pre-K through grade 12. It complements Chadwick School in Palos Verdes, California — founded in 1935 and home to 865 students — in forming one school on two campuses.

While each school is unique, both campuses are united by a shared Mission, Core Values and a belief in experiential, relational and purposeful learning that prepares students to thrive with character and confidence.

A Curriculum Without Borders

At both Chadwick campuses, the pioneering spirit isn’t just history — it’s how we shape the future.

Teachers and students regularly traverse our campuses in California and South Korea, gaining deeper insights into their subjects while strengthening the global citizenship skills at the heart of our Mission. Many unique learning opportunities unfold, as students and teachers are exposed to new perspectives, curriculum content and different cultures. Teams from Chadwick School and Chadwick International often visit, guest lecture and work together on projects.

In Athletics, we’re literally one team, as our California and South Korea student-athletes in Middle School and Upper School compete together in international tournaments throughout Asia and California.

At Chadwick, global citizenship is fundamental to our Mission — and it starts in kindergarten — with meaningful and personal connections among classmates and teachers across the world.
