Asphalt as Canvas
Senior Students Paint Their Parking Spaces
There’s no missing the energy on campus during senior parking space painting day — and this year, even a blistering heatwave couldn't slow our seniors down. Back for its second year, this newly minted tradition transformed our asphalt lot into a vibrant, high-energy gallery celebrating the Class of 2027.
Armed with paint cans, brushes and plenty of ice water, the senior class spent the day making their mark. The designs brought plenty of personality to the pavement, featuring everything from clever puns and sharp humor to intricate floral patterns, favorite colors and even detailed remakes of famous art pieces.
Beyond just custom parking, this tradition plays a huge role in setting the tone for the school year. As leaders on campus, our seniors set the vibe for our school. Having them literally leave their imprint on campus ground celebrates their place in our community and sparks a shared sense of pride every morning when students pull into school.
Take a stroll through the lot next time you’re on campus — you’ll see firsthand how much heart (and creativity) went into every single spot!
