Today, we are excited to introduce the next chapter of this history — the Chadwick Global Fellows Program.  This is our distinctive opportunity to lead a world-class, boutique boarding experience, empowering Chadwick International students to lead, learn and bridge our global campuses.

Chadwick is steeped in more than 90 years of rich history and tradition that began with the extraordinary vision of Margaret Lee Chadwick. From her very first teaching assignment, Mrs. Chadwick was a pioneer and Chadwick's roots as a leading boarding school destination in Los Angeles are part of our history.

Leadership in Action — Building a Global Bridge

Beyond academic excellence, the Fellowship is fundamentally rooted in profound character development. Fellows do not simply attend classes; they step into active, meaningful leadership roles as distinguished cultural ambassadors for CI.

  • Collaborative Impact: CI Fellows partner directly with their PV peers to identify a shared campus need.
  • Design Thinking: Using innovative problem-solving frameworks, students manage cross-cultural committees.
  • Tangible Solutions: Fellows design and implement a real, lasting solution for the student community, leaving a legacy on the PV campus before returning home.

What Makes a Global Fellow?

The Chadwick Global Fellows Program is a highly selective, one-year immersive exchange program, tailor-made for Chadwick International (CI) students. Modeled after prestigious "Fulbright Scholar" programs, this is not a temporary tourist exchange. Chadwick Fellows are fully integrated into the academic, athletic and vibrant social life of the Chadwick Palos Verdes (PV) campus. 

Designed specifically as an unparalleled stepping stone for Chadwick's impressive US university matriculation, the Fellowship allows students to deeply explore the American independent school experience while expanding their global perspective and independence.

Your Home in California: Residential Life & Support

We understand that true transformation requires a secure, supportive foundation. Fellows will live together in a dedicated house on the PV campus, featuring separate male and female wings.

Our boutique residential model is overseen by a robust leadership team, providing support for both students and their families back home in Korea:

  • Assistant Head of School:  Provides top-level oversight to ensure every Fellow is safe, supported academically, and experiencing a productive year.
  • Director of Student Life: Serves as the dedicated liaison for CI families, supervising the dorm life team and ensuring transparent communication.
  • Dedicated Dorm Parent: A trusted Chadwick educator lives on-site to provide daily mentorship and supervision.
  • Student Life Coordinators: A specialized team manages daily needs, including meals, transportation, study halls, and academic support.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for students ready for profound personal and academic growth. The ideal Fellow is:

  • Academically Strong: Ready to engage with the rigorous PV curriculum.
  • Emotionally Mature & Independent: Prepared for the responsibilities of a residential boarding experience.
  • Driven by Leadership: Eager to act as a cultural ambassador.
  • Committed to the CI Legacy: Expected to return to the Songdo campus for 10th grade to share their leadership skills and cross-cultural experiences.
